This chick always gets it right, and she's so refreshing to look at. I love how she wears such fierce clothes and still maintains her cuteness, a feat not often achieved by many fashionistas.

On a personal note, I'm off to South Beach tomorrow to celebrate my Birthday for a long weekend!!! Whoop Whoop!! Celebration officially starts tonight with a group of friends for dinner. I'll post pics in SOBE if I can and if not, expect hoards of pics come next week. Happy Hump day!

Pantless in the City

Photobucket

(Bershka tunic, leggings, Aldo boots, H&M necklace)

This was taken on Sunday, a day I often find wondering what in the world to wear. While some choose to spend their Sundays relaxing at home, my energizer bunny self if normally across the map. So, when choosing my outfit, I have to find something that will take me from one randomness to the next.

Started the day off with shrimp, scallops and hush puppies, later went to church, had some more shrimp on a salad, along with a taco, hung afterhours at a French restaurant and then heard some amazingly awesome live music. Talk about a versatile outfit for 5 different places. ha!

She Said I am the One

Photobucket

(LnA t shirt dress, Michael Stars cami, Juicy Couture denim motorcycle vest, H&M necklace, JCrew skinny cords, cowboy boots from a random store in Florence, Chain leather bag from a Rome flea market)

(Rachel Roy sequin blazer, Junk Food Rolling Stones T-shirt, H&M necklace, Theory cords, Zara satin pumps)

Had lunch with my parents at my favorite bagel sandwich spot, and then hit up a few stores and picked up this Rachel Roy blazer and funny enough, a leopard print sweater at Chicos... proof that you can find something cute ANYWHERE if you know what to look for. ha!! And props to Rachel Roy for not just slapping her name on a mediocre line. Her line for Macys looks good and is made just as well as something you'd find in a much nicer spot, which we all know is fairly unusual for cheaper lines.

(Express denim shirt, thrifted tiered skirt, Vince Camuto boots, gifted initial necklace, H&M necklace, Urban Outfitters hair feather (not shown))

Met up with a friend at a fun sushi spot on Friday. I love sushi spots!! They're usually such fun, social places!! Anyway, I'm sporting a denim shirt that I haven't worn since middle school or high school. My mom found it in my old room at my parent's place. Hilarious. I love it!

**Sorry about the bad lighting! I guess my living room has the lighting of a dungeon! Sheesh. Note to self: get another lamp already!

Style Inspiration: The Baby Sitters Club (Claudia)

PhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucket

Splendid at ShopStyle

Do any of you remember "dress like your favorite book character day in elementary school?" Well, I do. It was Fifth grade and I had already done Florence Nightingale in 3 rd grade, and now was my time to really shine. Really be the person I truly admired and wished I could be friends with… Claudia from The Baby Sitters Club of course. She was so cool, so into art, and so the person I looked to for fashion inspiration.

The only problem I had was that I didn’t have too many pictures of her, except from the few times she graced the cover of my beloved series. I studied them all and decided on black leggings, a huge colorful, baggy sweater, white keds and a side swept scrunchie look. I’m sure my teacher must have thought I was a “character” for sure. Who dresses up like a baby sitter for "dress like your favorite book character day?" Me! :)

Fashion Road Kill

Photobucket

(Zara blazer, Bershka racerback, American Apparel Space Scape tube bra, Elizabeth and James city slicker pants, Urban Outfitters We Who See Buckled Up Wedge)

I have to start by paying my due respect to the Olsens. I have never spent this much on a pair of pants and amazingly, I don't regret it. Actually, I am in love with them. They are so comfortable and they go with everything. Plus, they are such a cool take on a basic pant. Who knew black pants could be so exciting... well, to me at least!  Also, these wedge boots... so comfy and amazing. Wow, this is turning into an ad. Can you tell that's what I do for a living. Ha!

Well, anyway, went to a fashion show at the W in Buckhead last night. It was for a local designer and lets just say, yawn city. I kinda feel bad saying that since my friend Daniel was super kind enough to get me into the vip pre-party. Still totally had fun thanks to super amazing friends of course. Oh, and I saw a chick with some fierce snakeskin leggings that I completely went bananas for. Rachel Zoe fan? You got it!

Saturday night fever

PhotobucketPhotobucket

(Generra leather jacket, Bershka tunic, black leggings, Aldo boots)

Wore this out Saturday to hang out with friends, while trying to dodge the hordes of people trying to stay out of the rain. Yes, I am wearing the same leggings and boots. I'm lazy like that sometimes.

I done had a hard week, Now it's time to celebrate

Photobucket

(Thrifted little boy's blazer, sequined H&M top, black saint grace top, black leggings, Aldo boots)

Wore this out Friday night to get some yummy tapas with a big group of friends, as well as some tasty beverages. Pretty much want to live in these boots. Actually I tend to get that way with any new item. Wear it as much as possible for the first few weeks I own it.

I have been wanting to wear my hair in a side braid for quite a while and after seeing the Wang Spring 10 show, I decided to bust out the look. Of course mine looks nothing like the awesomeness that was in the show. Dang! ha! I'll have to work on it!

These are from a Vienna trip with the fam a few months back. I remember as a kid I was pretty Meh about Vienna. It was fun, but more so in an Epcot center kinda way. Explorable? Yes. Educational... super yes! And rigid! I remember getting yelled at an ice cream place for sitting down because I didn't know you had to pay a fee. For the love. Ha!

But now, wow. My opinions have changed. Vienna is so regal. So beautiful. How cute is that little cafe. I could sit there with a tea and some magazines all day! The stores were filled with such great pieces and everyone from young to old was dressed well. Especially the old people. Adorable! And everywhere you turn, the scenery is fairytale-like.

You know I want cha

Photobucket
(Denim JCrew blazer, LNA t-shirt dress, Bershka leggings, Aldo boots)

Or at least I look like I do with my crazy eyes in this photo. Mental note: learn to charge camera battery so you don't have to take pics with your friend's phone. Wore this out to celebrate my friend's birthday. I was a little bit sleepy so I had to indulge in a favorite. Venti Awake tea please! Yummy!

Got Blog?

(Vintage glasses, Generra leather jacket, Banana Republic cashmere scarf, gifted ring)

So, there use to be a time when all I wanted to do was look like my favorite celebrity. Then I decide my favorite celebrity was lame, and sometimes made such unoriginal choices. So onto U.S. fashion mags I went. I read them, I tore out pics, I studied them…. I tired of them. I started looking at European magazines. Much better… but when am I going to wear a $16,000 jacket… well, hopefully one day ;) but you know what I mean…. Then came along Rumi and fashion toast. My first ever fashion blog I ever came across. I became obsessed, which is probably an understatement. I started obsessing over the Sartorialist, then Karla, then Suzy, then Jak and Jil, then Garance, then…. Etc., etc., etc. And now here I am and I check at least 6 to 10 to 20 blogs a day! Hi, my name is Eunice and I’m a blogaholic. Street style—it’s where fashion inspiration is at…. And the best part is that you don’t even have to want to wear something similar. You can just appreciate someone’s creativity in expressing themselves. Inspiring to say the least! And entertaining beyond belief! So here I am now, a few years into it and I figure I should attempt my own blog… if not at least to make my friends happy that I finally started one.
